Talking with Pierre LeBrun, GM Tom Fitzgerald said he wants to make a splash in free agency this summer like he did with Hamilton

Who would he go after? My best guess is Johnny Gaudreau or Brock Boeser.

This lineup right here is just a super deep and skilled lineup. Hopefully the goalies can stay healthy

Do we need both those guys?!

And if we added a Johnny G, do we move Bratt? Or play one of those guys on 3rd line? Between JG, JB, JH, that would be three line-driving puck carrying types.

Watching the Devils against the Jets last night they were really impressive and they were without Hischier, with the right additions they should probably be able to turn the corner out of the rebuild.

I dont really like this FA class, at least not in a way I'd like NJ to go out and make a splash.

Other than the aforementioned, could Filip Forsberg be on Fitzgerald's mind?

Dont see who else fits splashworthy definition?

I agree. I think our offense is in pretty good shape. And I would prefer to get a goalie and save some space to add at next year’s deadline and then re-sign Graves and/or Severson in off-season.

The way I think of it, Bratt plays good with Hughes. Get another winger from the area who is better than Bratt to play with Hughes would be great. Along with them get a sniper who can score 25+ goals
Mercer or Tatar can drive play on the 3rd line

Not sure what the plan is with goaltending
Hope they go after Samsonov or someone around that value
