Meh, unless that trade is at the deadline next season & they don't need him at that point, Im not sure why NJ would bother trading AJ for a 3 ... its fair, there is just no real motivating factor to let him go. He offers solid depth until more of the kids are ready & they can carry the cap hit, no problem.

AZ has shown interest in him because of his contract. Real money significantly lower than his cap hit to help them cheaply hit the floor, so it would be this deadline or the summer. I'd hope for one of their 2nds, but I'd still be fine with making this trade. Time to get a look as some of the Utica boys before they have to start going through waivers and we lose them for nothing.
