You aren’t getting 2 A level prospects for Severson bro, what in the hell has he done to earn that recognition. The guy is a very solid 2RD, but is quite a lesser player than Muzzin was when the Leafs traded for him and they gave up a 1st and 2B/C+ prospects, a smaller package than Niemela+Knies

Fitzgerald has basically come out and said Severson isn’t gonna get traded.
Severson is slightly better than Muzzin was at the time of his trade.
Severson is criminally underrated and extremely important to the Devils.
Toronto has nothing on their roster to dangle for a hockey trade involving Severson (you’re not gonna trade Nylander for Sevs, are you?).
Niemelä + Knies for Severson is nothing if not fair.
