I think that the Hawks would decline. They don't need Kessel. Arizona would probably be better off trying to trade him to a contender and keeping more salary. I think you'd get a better return.

Dude Carpenter is not even alone worth a third, Ottawa does not need him, their is no way that they are going to trade a defenseman that they drafted back to get, Novak will also be interesting but that is a terrible trade for the Sens, so bad it smells, no thanks, plus if we wanted him we would go to Chicago and get him, we don't need or want him though so we won't trade for him.
