It's kinda hard to roast since it's probably the closest thing I've seen to a trade that would make sense for him. The only issue I see is that EDM would be looking for a couple decent young Dmen coming back, since that's a huge need for them.

Pull out the 22 first and Kravstov, and put in Miller and Lundqvist and I think a deal could be made.

The good news is its not an entire team - Krav wont play for the Rangers, may as well move him. Georgiev is RFA and has already requested a trade as he doesn't want to back up Shesterkin. Kakko is a bust who will never live up to his draft value (Rangers fans may want to realize this as you have seen him play enough).

So to get the best play in the NHL you are giving up Mika, two 1st rounders and Alexis - Rangers would jump all over that seeing as you keep your D in tact (fox trouba etc), your starting goalie and the bread man, Strome, Kreider etc.

First, McDavid isn't going anywhere. He is the only reason that team hasn't folded. You cant live off 80's glory that long in that Market. Second, the Rangers would rather move Trouba than Mika since they have 5 or more D prospects coming down the pipe and that 8 million off the cap would be REALLY nice. Third, I doubt the Rangers make any significant moves till the offseason and this will not be one of them...

We all know McDavid isn't getting traded - but for some one to post saying its crazy and that the offer was an "entire team", when the reality is if that was an offer they could take to land McDavid, the Rangers say yes in a heart beat.

LOL, It is crazy and stupid to assume the Rangers would say yes. In that case trade him to Boston and give away your first line and 3 years of picks and see if that is a deal your team will make.

Being a Edmonton civillian, the team will not die just because McDavid isn't here. The fan based is insanely passionate and supported the team even when Hemsky/Horcoff were the stars. Oilers also have a 30 year agreement with the NHL and the City not to move, so that won't happen anytime soon

I am sorry Alexis and his 18 points is your 1st line and he and Mika are the entire line? Kreider has been playing 1st line and doing well and to be fair, he and Mika are the ones carrying that line. But if that is the case I would happily trade Bergeron and Debrusk, along with the next 2 1st round picks for McDavid. In a heart beat I would do that - would even toss in Studnicka, Urho and some others to make the deal happen.

Yeah they will probably do some trade before deadline to add on for Playoffs. A bit of grit or sandpaper would be good.
