Why would Minnesota ever do that? Hell, why would anyone make a trade like that for Okposo?

okposo is on pace for 25+ goals 50ish points, you pay a 2and for that

Gaudreau is on pace for 10 less points, costs 20% as much as, and plays center. There is zero reason for the Wild to make this deal.
And Okposo has another year at 6M left, so even if you take Gaudreau out the Wild still don't trade a 2nd for Okposo.
Just missed the mark with both team and value.

Maybe if you're stupid and desperate.

The guy won't get almost 17 minutes total TOI and 2 minutes PPTOI a night where he goes, he's been a secondary assist merchant and 1/3rd of his production has been on the PP

His production will fall off extremely hard and he's no two-way God either. He's also got another year left after this one ends where even at 50% retained (3M cap hit) he probably won't even be worth the space he takes up.

He was also on pace for EXACTLY 30 points over 82GP the previous 3 seasons. I couldn't care less about his pace, especially this year, he's trash
