Nylander obviously has point per game upside, so I don't really see why Eichel would be Kapanen, a 1st and a 2nd more valuable then Nylander?

How exactly does this make the Leafs better going forward? Nylander will be a C long term, so I fail to see any benefit in giving up so much to go from Nylander to Eichel as our 2nd line C?

Would we not be better served using those 3 assets to grab a good Top 4 dman, and keep Nylander?

I don't think that Buffalo would do that...Eichel is poised to be a special type player
