Given the rumoured asking price for Chychrun, that offer wouldn't come close. I don't see NSH considering trading Carrier though, so it's probably a moot point.

That won’t land you chychrun but if the sharks wanted Svechkov instead of carrier then it all works out. Honestly with our center group and glass I think itd make more sense to trade Svechkov instead of carrier.

Miller would make more sense as it buys an extra year of cap stability. Though he goes ufa the same year our entire stable of rhd need a pay raise and that’d cause all sorts of issues

Miller's cap hit next season is low enough that it wouldn't prevent NSH from re-signing Forsberg, which is a plus to me. I don't know if NSH would re-sign Miller, but having him for next year's playoffs, or being able to sell him at next year's deadline if the Preds aren't contending gives Poile some flexibility.
