TDL with Comparable

Created by: cooliny

Description
I don’t think realistically Motte would fetch that much (as a fan I would hope he goes for at least a 3rd), but there has been rumours within the organization of a top 40 pick asking price in order for management to be willing to deal him. Who knows, this is purely an optimistic outlook and Tampa has made some out of the ordinary moves in the past, maybe trading for Motte will be another one.

Additional Details:
Trade Comparable: Barclay Goodrow trade in 2020

Not a Nucks fan but I've always liked Motte. Obviously he isn't worth a first but Tampa is the type of team to make a deal like this

If Motte was making 925k and had another year Tampa would have probs done it.

Tampa declines. If they see Motte in their future plans I could maybe see a 1st for Motte retained+3rd, but not a chance Tampa is moving their 1st and one of their better RD prospects for Motte and a 3rd. It's nit really comparable to the Goodrow trade, as the extra player Tampa moved was just to have the number of contracts fit, as he wasn't a highly valued prospect
