Why would Montreal try and buy players they are 32nd in the league and won’t be competitive for another 3 years atleast

I'd rather get 1 of chychrun or provorov thru a trade. And draft Simon nemec at this draft. Therefore, in the future:
Provorov - Nemec
Guhle - Mailloux
Romanov - Harris

I think we have our the whole lleft side of our future d already in the system. Ghule Romanov, Harris (Hopefully) Norlinder. On the right side we have Mailloux n Brooks. much weaker on RD.

That type of trade is something we should be doing in a year or two. once we have had a chance to see these young guys play in MTL.

Makes more sense. I don't see guhle or Mailloux as #1Dmen. More like 2nd pair.

Its to be determined for sure, but thats my point i wouldnt want to give up that package for something we may already have in our system. I think thats a deal you do when you have a better idea of what you have.

Thats hilarious actually. Florida and Tampa are miles better, Boston going to be going through a retooling period soon. Leafs are great as long as its regular season hockey. Ottawa and Detroit arent even much better now with all the injuries we have had, they certainly arent better when habs have their full roster healthy.

The fact you think our rosters are similar kinda proves my point even more. Clearly dont have much grasp on the reality of this past year.

Take ur habs goggles off ur team has the worst centre core in the division and the worst defense core aswell enjoy the basement don’t worth I’ll be laughing at you guys again next year. Looking at all the acgms at the start of the year with all the habs fan so optimistic to now has been glorious

I dont have habs goggles just can see whats in front of me. We do have one of the worst center cores in the atlantic, also one of the youngest thats steadily improving. Our d-core is going to look fine going into next year, albeit young as well. If we have a healthy price going into the season we will 100% not be a basement team. And on top of that feel very confident habs will win their next playoff round before the leafs.

Already counting down to the "blow it up' acgm posts from leafs fan after round 1.

I'd gladly take a basement next year. This core adds Michkov or Bedard and likely contenders by 2026

Edmunson,Romanov,Petry and Clague are by far the worst top 4 in the Atlantic and Suzuki,Dvorak, pitlick is also by far the worse centre core and Allen,montembault/primau is the worst goalie tandem

I think we will have a committee kinda of like
Chiarot-Weber
Eddy-Petry
With Ghule and Romy on the left side and probably Harris, Norlinder, Strubble, Mailloux and maybe Faibrother, Kostenko, Sobolev, Trudeau to round out the top6
