I imagine the bidding war will move to a 2nd and a 3rd and it/they won’t be so late in the rounds. Won’t be a 2nd round 3 drafts from now at the e end of the round

Management, the team, and the fans love Necas, plus he was a non starter for Laine and Eichel, so why would the Canes trade him? I get it’s Chychrun, and Arizona won’t consider moving him unless it’s a package they can’t turn down, which they could get better offers than this, but Canes pass as they won’t trade Necas.

This would be a great deadline. I think the values are where they should be, but as the people above me noted, it will be difficult. I wouldn't want to give up any of our 2nds except the one you gave, but it seems more will be required. Then I don't think it's worth it, but we need players on the other hand. Maybe Phil stays due to his newborn. From Carolina I think Jarvis is more likely to be the centerpiece and that's a really good get if possible. Him and Morrow + 1st is a solid package.
