Binnington blocks that trade with his NTC imo. You guys are likely stuck with him at minimum until his NTC expands ahead of the 24/25 season

Gonna have to disagree with that assessment. Even if Blackwood can't bounce back and ends up being a backup goaltender for his career, at least he'll still be paid like one. Huge gamble to expect $6m goaltender who has gotten worse every year to bounce back.
