That's what I am thinking. Fortier can fill his role for half the cost and allow us to spend another $750,000 and upwards of $2,500,000 on a RHD who wants to chase a cup.

Feel like Charles Hudon could battle for a bottom 6 role. Not sure of his contract status.

I don’t think that’s going to matter when the team still has young players and pretty much keep a decent amount of the roster intact. Especially with all the smart trades BriseBois makes.

He's UFA. So, he's free to go where he wants. Could probably get better defense from re-signing Dumont or playing Gemel Smith though IMO.

It's going to be tight after signing Cernak, Cirelli, and Sergy. Tough even fitting Colton on a new contract.

Isn't it always.

Do you think ABB finally cracks it? Slowly getting Conacher vibes.

I think he's become better off the puck in Syracuse this season. He's been slapped on PK1 with Dumont for awhile, so that's a plus.

He looks to have become better at setting up plays too and not as reliant on PP goals.

I'm interested in seeing if he sticks next season.

I think ABB is no longer considered a top 6 forward by the Bolts. If so he is not a bottom 6 player either.
