Like I think you need to redefine what you think is slightly. DeBrincat scores at almost double the rate. Secondly do you think CHI would give 2 shakes about EDM cap issues, they would want max value for a young top scorer.

They'll have to shop him elsewhere then.

Debrincat: 115 GP, 66 goals, 46 assists, 112 points. 0.57 goals per game and 0.97 points per game
Yamamoto: 113 GP, 23 goals, 25 assists, 48 points. 0.2 goals per game and 0.42 points per game

Cat has almost 3x as many goals and more than double the amount of points. Just stop this argument already, you're wrong

Because PP. He wouldn't get 1st unit time in Edmonton so that part of his value is muted for the Oilers. Look at Yamamoto - his powerplay goal scoring rate is actually HIGHER than Debrincat's (3.06 G/60 vs 2.60) but he hasn't had the same opportunity due to the other players on the team.

Since you clearly haven't looked at the links I posted, I'll post the numbers for you here:

At 5v5:
KY: 140, 25-34-59 (0.42 p/gp)
AD: 184, 38-42-80 (0.43 p/gp)

At 5v4:
KY: 98:10, 5-2-7 (4.28 p/60)
AD: 623:22, 27-24-51 (4.91 p/60)

Can Debrincat play net-front or bumper?

I mean that's not what he does. He's 5'7 so definetly not net front. Maybe bumper but that isn't what he does. Bringing in a play of the cat's caliber you find a way to fit him on your top unit with Mcdavid, Draisaitle, Nurse, and whoever you want for the 5th guy

Why did you mention Puljujarvi then if Debrincat doesn't play his position? You aren't making sense... Debrincat literally plays the same position on the powerplay as McDavid does. He would be on the 2nd unit.

If you look at the links I posted, you'll see why that is: opportunity.

Who the F cares. You pay for production. There is a damn world of difference between a .81ppg player and a .47ppg player. Seriously you have zero credibility. You’re handpicking stats that support your argument and ignoring the results. DeBrincat is a significantly greater scorer period. You can’t dress that up or change the fact.

You sound angry. Maybe try aroma therapy or meditation.

Have a great day.
