Yeah, that's not how it works. With all the bjg namws off the boards all the teams willing to spend 1sts on defenders are gone too.

If the Leafs were so desperate they would’ve paid a ridiculous price for Lindholm or Chiarot already.

That's very expensive for CDH, but the trades going on righr now are crazy too.

For way better players. Now it's small deals for lesser players

We'll see. Dubas isn't exactly a thrifty trader. He sent a 1st for something like 11 games of Foligno.

Do you think he's good at making trades? I'm pretty darn sure he's going to spend TORs 1st round pick soon. Not saying it's for CDH...a 1st is very expensive for CDH.

Take Lindholm. Drop the prospect and both 2nds...there's still a 1st.

Lindholm is way better than DeHaan. DeHaan is a depth add. Not a top guy. Fans are getting nutty here

Every gm of a team that has been a playoff team has done something like this.

That's a massive difference in trade value too though. The prices teams are paying right now are exactly nutty. It's 100% a sellers market. I'm even saying a is too much, but man oh man...these trade prices are crazy

Yeah i actually agree. You need to if you want to win. He just needs to win. TOR needs to make a move and these trade prices are crazy.

But that's just the thing teams who make these trades rarely win. Colorado, florida and tampa have gone nuts and only of them can win and florida is gonna be pretty in tough if they dont win this year
