Description

Makes no sense other than moving money which could have been done cheaper. We lost a trusted bottom 6 player who was loved by his teammates and a solid D man who had a strong bond with our all star Kyrou... and we lost a valuable draft pick... just to get someone who plays as poorly in his own end as Scandella. The 4th line is worse off and will be getting even less responsibility than they've had thus far. Sad day.

Its also a move everyone saw coming. Needed a LD, market was through the roof. What fans want on these websites rarely ends up being the GM price going rate.

Who cares where he plays lol. This trade at best is a wash, not an improvement... plus the loss of a 2nd.

It's a dumb move. Making a trade for the sake of making a trade. I dont care about the close relationships, I care about the result. We could have easily traded Sundqvist and Walman without giving up a 2nd.

Sucks to see Sunny go but was most likely gone in the offseason anyways. I agree the 2nd round pick is tough to give up, but I don't hate the trade. Seems like a try to slightly improve the LD for the playoffs, if it doesn't work oh well. Also, this a move that will help us out in the offseason.

I dont disagree,it's who we gave up the 2nd for. We could have traded for Soucy who already has a low cap hit. Sunny and 2nd would have been okay with me in that deal.
