It was Frank Seravalli so I think there is likely some credibility there.

"GM Steve Yzerman has let teams know that he is ‘Open for Business.’ The sense is just about everyone from the Wings roster is available aside from Moritz Seider and Lucas Raymond. That would include Bertuzzi, whose name first surfaced in rumors last summer."

"Open for business"

is lightyears away from

"All year it has been Bertuzzi is likely being moved."

You're just making things up now.

Remember last summer when Dubas wanted to trade for Bertuzzi even though he missed most of the season to Injury? Leaf fans latched on to it quickly and raced to CFACGM to make BS offers. "Engvall, Dermott and a 2nd!" "He's being shopped!" None of it was true of course. Couldn't we do the same thing?

"Yzerman called Holland today about trading for Connor McDavid. Holland wasn't interested."

Detroit News is reporting that Steve Yzerman called Ken Holland today to discuss a potential Connor McDavid trade. McDavid is apparently being shopped.

So according to you, insiders are all irrelevant and have zero legit information. Brilliant

Seravelli's quote is from a few days before the deadline. Yzerman talked about extending Bertuzzi & Larkin in his post-TDL presser. Gonna stick with the more recent info as being accurate in this case.

Point I was making was that the other posters aren't saying that any rumors of his availability are complete BS, but that there is newer information showing that it's different going forward. Doesn't mean folks are saying guys like Seravelli or Lebrun have no relevance, like you were saying, just that when the GM comes out and says things have changed they've, well...changed, and the old information is now what's no longer relevant.

No, that's not what you're saying.

What you said was "likely being moved".

You're making a mountain out of a molehill and you're also refusing to correct yourself when proven wrong. Those traits are bad habits to have if you want to be taken seriously.

There is irrefutable proof that Bertuzzi is NOT "likely to be moved" so just quit it.

Yes I remember.

I probably still have my canned response saved in a file somewhere. I didn't think I would need to search for after what Bert & Steve said in their interviews though.

You don't get Konecny without a 1st
All year it has been Bertuzzi is likely being moved.

Unless Yzerman or Bertuzzi says he is being traded DON'T BELIEVE IT. Bertuzzi's rare combination skill and grit and since there aren't many players with that combo so he is highly sought after and that is when rumors start. This comes up about 3 times a year but he is still in Detroit. At least season it was Friedman who started the rumor but all he said "Toronto would be interested in Bertuzzi." This year it was started by the Clown Shoe editor of the 4th Period and he even said his reasoning for adding Bertuzzi was "A lot of people wanted him at last years TDL." People here have to be getting tired of constantly being wrong about Bertuzzi.

Unless Yzerman gets a really good offer for Zadina he gets moved at next years TDL.

Like most every one commenting on your ACGM I do like Konecny but Detroit needs a center or 2 and LHD or 2. Detroit doesn't have the luxury of up grading wingers right now.

TK is worth more than that. I highly doubt the Wings will be bottom ten in 2 years with TK added onto their current corp so essentially a first for TK is not a very good deal
