Description

This is a part 2: The off-season for Vegas. Go find the 1st part that will explain some moves

Part 2:
Trade for Phillips from Calgary. Calgary seem like they will never use the kid. He has 57 points in 50 games AHL games this season. Would be cheep and worth a shot

Brossoit would need to be flipped for whatever they can get. Clearing him and taking Thompson as a backup lets you keep most of the core together. Still got a little room for a backup

Why would the flames play a projected top 6 prospect for a 4th?

Montreal would say no because they actually try to get rid of salary not adding to them. And this incentive are not worth taking on 5 millions.

Er Phillips is a lot like Bracco was for Toronto. Good at the AHL but probably won't get anywhere at the NHL level. I think I would be ok with a trade similar to this

I Missed Roy my bad, could replace ZAR with him + some extra cash. Hague could get offer sheeted. But his qualifying offer is .875 so 1m for 1 year would be a prove it deal

Rumours are they are still going to look to retool this offseason. Taking dadanov for no cost and gaining picks would be a win for them. Especially if this draft class is a deep as projected

If the Flames watned Phillips on the team he would have made it out of camp instead of Lewis or even Duehr. Sutter hates rookies and small guys. Pretty sure mang and Johnny is all he can handle

I don’t know where you hears those rumors but they are false. Hugues made it clear that he want to get younger faster and that he want to shed salary. Not adding to
A already loaded bad contract mtl team.

That includes Weber.

They also have a ton of picks and mid tier prospects. The only way you'd get them to consider it is taking Weber's contract and upping the quality of the future coming back.

Weber is on LTIR doesn't change much for the space under the cap next year
