Trades
1.
MTL
  1. Denisenko, Grigori
  2. Hörnqvist, Patric
  3. 2022 3rd round pick (FLA)
FLA
  1. Drouin, Jonathan ($2,750,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Three team deal with Arizona, MTL retains 50%, ARI retains 50%, then Drouin goes to FLA at 1,375,000 against the cap. This frees up a lot of cap space for FLA and keeps them competitive to win now.
2.
MTL
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (OTT)
OTT
  1. Byron, Paul
Additional Details:
Ottawa could use a veteran player like Byron to help get out of their rebuild. If OTT will give up a third for Hamonic it's not crazy to say they would for Byron.
3.
MTL
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (LAK)
  2. 2022 5th round pick (NSH)
  3. 2023 4th round pick (NSH)
NSH
  1. Hoffman, Mike
Additional Details:
NSH needs scoring depth, especially if Forsberg walks in free agency. Would also reunite Hoffman and Duchene.
4.
MTL
  1. Stankoven, Logan
  2. 2022 4th round pick (DAL)
DAL
  1. Petry, Jeff
Additional Details:
Assuming Klingberg walks in free agency.
5.
MTL
  1. Petrov, Matvei
  2. 2023 5th round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Would the Oilers give Petrov up for a competent goaltender? Would this change if the Oilers goaltending is the main problem in the playoffs?
EDM
  1. Allen, Jake
  2. 2022 4th round pick (TBL)

Stars decline, not trading Stankoven for Petry.

Alright fair, what other prospects would be on the table?

If Dallas was interested in Petry, Dellandrea would probably be the highest prospect on the table.

I'd take that if we got a second rounder with him as well. The pick doesn't have to be this year either.

Oilers decline, takeout Petrov, and replace him with one of Tullio or Lavoie and Oilers accept

Except Ottawa's management lol- who thought they would've given up a third for Hamonic?

Yes, because one move by a club means ALL their moves must be similar! Speaking of which, has Montreal decided which sexual predator they'll be drafting in the first round this year?

Those aren't even comparable, most teams were going to draft Mailloux ANYWAYS it just happened to be MTL, Ottawa was the only team we are aware of that was in on Hamonic and they paid the Canucks while helping their cap problems. Byron could for sure have use for the Sens, teams don't magically build up overnight, if you want to argue he's not a great player, fine but his veteran presence would be appreciated there. It doesn't HAVE to be a third round pick either, could be a fourth or even fifth round pick.

I can't tell if you're trolling or just delusional. If OTT wants 4th line veteran presence they'll offer Ennis another 900k deal. He's a better player who they know fits in well and costs them over 3X less.
It's another cap crunch season; no one is paying you to take on Byron's $3.4M cap hit and every GM knows there'll be better players available on waiver wire as teams become cap compliant to start the season.
As for Hamonic, sure, we overpaid, but he's a +4 through 4 games and has stabilized our right side nicely. He's honestly looked great! If he can play like this next season while paired with Sanderson, OTT fans will have zero complaints about him costing us a mid 3rd rd pick.
