Ignoring Brodie's full NTC seems odd...

But I feel like the wild thing here is trading 2 years of Willy for a decent prospect and a 2nd after a career year...that's arguably less than the Flames paid for Toffoli, and Nylander > Toffoli...

If Trocheck would sign that, he would stay a Hurricane

Reactionary trade post after a loss, nothing unusual here.

Reactionary post after seeing two things that make me want to pull out my hair because of the group of Leafs fans that don't like nice things, nothing unusual here tears of joy

For a team that apparently isn't "clutch", I was surprised to see that that's the first regulation loss for the Leafs this year when leading through 2 periods (Also only 3 OT losses). Buncha chokers I tell ya!

I think the funniest thing is that everyone on here and the media only focuses on Toronto and the negative in these situations. Forgetting the fact that they were the clear better team for almost 2 full periods, and the fact (that everyone misses) that Florida was the team to play terrible defence in the first place to be down 5-1. But everyone seems to think that Florida is so much better than Toronto when they’re literally the same type of team that Toronto is.

Oh and for the record:
Florida GA: 210 in 70 games
Toronto GA: 216 in 70 games

.. so yeah, this is hilarious to see everyone overreacting again 😂

Also, Leafs lost in OT last night, not regulation. But you still make a valid point

No, no, no! Do not trade Brodie. Not under any circumstances should you trade the teams best defensive defenseman. Especially if it is to sign Nikita Zadarov.

Many there are a lot of "Leaf fans" on here who desperately want to see the Leafs fail again.

Right? Matthews didn't score, he is declining, a definite cap dump now

Florida actually gives up a lot more high danger chances than the leafs do. They are the leafs from 3 years ago. Tonnes of shots, lots of offence and very poor defence that the goalie covers up. If Bobrovsky falters at all the team is going to get scored on a lot.

Brodie is way too soft of a defensemen, Leafs need more players that can throw their weight around. He is another Tyson Barrie

Not sure which Brodie you're watching, he's the polar opposite of Barrie.
