Edmonton doesn't have any cap space. Would you take Foegele back?

Value is probably fine for Wennberg, but Boston isn't a fit.

If he does, which i think is a long shot, how does wennberg help that? Is he a 1C? Absolutely not. He’s a 3C, and the bruins have plenty of those.

well i could not disagree more! if dvorak got a first + .... but yeah, i really dont see that move happening for real. but i do wonder what they would try to do if bergeron retires, they would definitly still try to be competetive.

There was logic behind that move. The habs lost a middle six center, and went out and got a middle six center. That doesn’t equate to a team losing a 1C, and jsut going out and getting a 3C even though they have a ton of those.

sure, i dont expect them to make that move at all aswell. how do you think they would try to replace bergeron if he retire? FA? trade? internal solution?boston made some smart signing in the past. even thoug no onw can truly replace bergeron, i suspect tje bruins wouls try to stay competitive and make some.moves in some way.

It would have to be a major trade. I don’t think we’ll get to that point however.
