Danault is probably and is on pace for about 53 point season, Toews 40 points....Sorry it's 2022.

Toews is coming off missing an entire season. He's gotten better as the season has gone on. He'll be better next season.

I don't see the value in trading one of the last remaining franchise players for 1 decent prospect. If he wants to leave and that's all you can get for him then just let him leave in free agency. That way he looks like the bad guy that didn't want to come back. The team saves face by not selling off one of the most popular players in team history for 1 piece for the future.

All Toews has is leadership and a resume, I'm afraid. Danault is in his prime and a perennial top 5 in Selke votes....apparently he can now score too.
