Ducks don't do that in a million years. This is in fact horrible for them.

A Top 5 Goalie prospect in the league, a young forward, a former 1st with Top 6 upside, one of the league's best defensive prospects (probably Top 10 or 15) who's having one of the best WHL D-man seasons in recent memory (among other things: the highest PPG of any 18yo WHL D-man since Niedermayer and Sydor in 1991), a Top 10 pick (maybe even higher) and two high 2nd round picks is far too much for Chychrun.

Lundeström gets more and isn't a Winger btw.

Aston-Reese doesn't get that if he's re-signed at all and he won't play in the Top 6

Carrick > Gagner and Grant

Silfverberg is a bottom 6 Winger at this point

Dostal is not a top 5 goalie prospect.

Askarov, Wallstedt, Cossa, Wolf are better, that's it. Look at his stats. Even if he's not Top 5, he's Top 7 or 8 and I bet almost everyone on this site will agree with me on that one.

And that's like the most unimportant part of my comment.

There aren't 9 better ones than him, look at his stats. But let's just agree to disagree.

Fair proposal is difficult. The Ducks shouldn't give up too much since they're rebuilding. If they'd want to beat all the other teams' offers, they would have to trade more than they should.

I'm just going to ask you what he asked me: What would you give up for Chychrun? I edited my original answer because I'm really unsure what exactly the Ducks should be willing to trade.

i mean top 8 or top 10 is just semantic, i mean to agree with you he is a top goalie prospect. i also agree that its a tough position for duck fan for a trade, because its doesnt make sense since they are still rebuilding. im more just wondering what pieces would be in a package. i think zellweger is a must. than maybe perrault, first protected and another decent piece (comtoix, or b prospect.)

Zellweger is probably not going anywhere. With the season he's having, he isn't being traded. Especially not him + Perreault, a 1st and more

Ahh man. I’d probably send three Boston picks, Perreault, Mahura or Vaaks and possibly one other prospect

I actually think both sides would prefer Tracey.

Over Perrault? I would be completely fine with that

I think this cold be the case since Arizona already has a really good RW sniper prospect in Guenther.

I’d be happy with that overall

Chychrun for Boston 1st 2nd & 2nd Tracey, Mahura/Vaaks and potentially one other B/C prospect
