      I reject that offer on behalf of EDM. The only reason to trade Puljujarvi is due to cap concerns and, by the 2023 deadline, either he'll already be signed long term or cap space will be opening up that would allow the team to sign him long term that summer. While Muzzin would technically fill a plausible need, his cap hit would almost certainly be too high to take on and he'd be a rental. A low 1st and a rental doesn't entice me enough to move Jesse who I see as a vital piece to the Oilers' future.

      You have to explains why Muzzin waives his NTC for Edmonton....or virtually any team. Sorry to break the fantasy his 5.6m cap hit stays a Leafs. Mrzarek just isn't tradable.
