The only chance the Habs have to move Price is if they retain 50%. Even then I doubt they get a prospect of Hollaway’s caliber for him

He might not be worth 10.5M just to perform in the playoffs, but 5.25M for Carey Price isn't a bad deal. Getting Holloway for 50% of Price isn't impossible. The problem would be his NMC (he doesn't want to leave. He had the opportunity to test the FA market couple years ago and sign with a team that he didn't have to carry by himself) and Montreal probably doesn't want to retain 5.25M of his salary for the next 4 years.
