Can't see Ottawa doing that, Grieg is a sneaky good prospect and a hypothetical 5-10 pick in 2023 is crazy valuable

As a toronto fan i would love nothing more than to see the sens get ripped off like that...but no GM on earth is paying anywhere near that for an RFA that everyone knows you cant afford. Brutal deal for ottawa

Habs have so many picks in this draft, why not take a chance on jost. At worst he’s a body to fill a spot in the lineup when Drouin gets hurt and Hughes manages to ship a few more pieces out of town. At best MSL works some of his magic and helps him tap into some of those skills that made him the tenth overall pick.

I have a hard time with it but Fiala has been trending so far upwards the past couple months, this is what his price is looking more and more like. Ultimately it depends on so many things outside of what we can speculate, ie new ownership and willingness to spend, so the cap will be at question. But as far as conceptual value and not "do I think the Sens will actually end up doing it", this is probably around where Fiala is right now.
