To much quantity. Should be something like the VGK 1st rounder and Rosen. Could argue Floridas and a mid rounder instead of VGKs

Pass on the trade. Too much to give up for my liking. Johnson isn't someone we should be trading unless he has no plans to sign in Buffalo, which I'm not sure why that would ever be the case

Born on the west coast, dad played for minnesota uni. Maybe doesnt want to have to battle with dahlin, power, samuelsson, joki, whoever else they draft this year with 3 first round picks. Looks like majority of gophers returning so why wouldnt he test free agency if he would only have to wait a few more months after the season. I would love if he signed but you also may be discounting just how good fiala is

Signing him to 7x7 straigh up is worth 1st,2nd,3rd in compensation. Much less than two mid 1st round picks.

You are forgetting that the first round pick you give up in compensation for signing an RFA to an offer sheet must be your own first round pick not one you acquired from another team. In fact all picks given in compensation have to be your own.

I don't forget that. It would be 2023 pick, which I expect to be mid round pick, 12-18 range.
So for Minnesota it could be equivalent of what Sabres have - Florida 1st, Johnson and 3rd. Or 2023 Sabres(lotto protected), Johnson, 3rd.
