There's no way they don't bite on Geekie instead, right?

Boucher might just be the prototypical 3rd line centre. Savoie is giving top 6 so very different players but I hear you.

Sign me up for Giroux but the Manson signing seems like a longshot given the price they paid to get Hamonic and the fact that he's played like he's worth the price tag.

Instead of Savoie? I wouldn't do that in a million years, too many concerns in Geekie's game. And Ottawa is a relatively big team so I think it's easier to fit a small player like Savoie into the the system compared to an already small team.

For the record I'm not saying that's what I would do, just that he feels very much like a guy they would tunnel vision on

Oh yeah, understood that. I can totally see it going into that direction... or the complete opposite to be honest. We'll see but taking Geekie that high would be very risky.

Savoie, Slavkovsky, Nazar, Lekkerimaki, and Kemell would be absolutley filfy with Stutzle. Slavkovsky or Nazar especially. If they ended up getting Lucius and trading down to get Nazar I'd be so happy. But yeah, I wouldn't get Geekie but the Sens front office loves big skillfull forwards.

Yeah, I don't get why people say Boucher is a bust.

He's had an insanely difficult year staying healthy also just didn't fit in well in college which sometimes happens and has the skill set to be a good middle six forward. Kinda like Micheal Bunting but with a better shot and a bit more size.

Nah if they take Geekie, I will puke. Should be Nazar , Kemell, Jiricek or Savoie. Or even Lekkerimaki

looked at Savoie Stats 90 points in 65 games with Greig's 63 points and 26 goals in just 39 games. That is elite

And 1 year younger than Greig too. Savoie will be a point producing machine

Grieg should be in the NHL next season. And if you had a line of
Tkachuk - Norris - Batherson
Grieg - Stutzle - Nazar/Lekkerimai/Kemell, Savoie, Slavkovsky
Formenton - Pinto -Joseph
Kelly - Kastelic - Watson

Chabot - Thompson
Sanderson - JBD
Heinola(If jets trade down)/Brannstrom - Zub

Gus
Sogaard

Then that would be elite.

It's unfortuante that he was picked as high as he was. If the pick was 30th instead of 10th I dont think there would be nearly as many complaints. At this point it is what it is and hes a part of the prospect pool. Might as well ride it out with him!
