Rasmus Dahlin would be a good choice too. He has been unbelievable for us, especially in the last half of the season

I'd argue Fiala has been producing at a high level for the past 3 seasons (including this one), but he was stuck with Marcus Johansson, Victor Rask, and the shells of Parise and Koivu as his linemates. Despite that, he still had 94 points over 110 games through 19-21.

Didnt even know he had fifty points. That is a big bump for him.

Dahlin was a name I considered but he had 44 points his rookie season and is at 53 now thats not a huge jump IMO. Eye test hes for sure a better player.

My argument with Colton is that if he played a full season last year he would be about the same rate. I would have considered his breakout year last year he was red hot in Syracuse before making a smooth transition to the show.

What jumped out to me is Fiala is just an all around better player this year. He was a name people knew in years past but this year he's been impressive. Unfortunately for wild fans he's probably now too expensive for them next year.

You are going off point totals so that's fair. Game-play wise he is definitely breaking out though as he has become steady and dependable defensively and has been using his creativity more and more
