Does Will deserve to be trade after a career year - no. Will he because of the pandemic caused cap implications - yes, unfortunately.

Washington passes. Holl is 3rd pair at best and isn’t really that good, and Holl wouldn’t make the roster over any of the current RD or TvR. No need for him in DC.

Basically almost the same team in 22-23 that they have in 21-22, regardless of how they finish 21-22.

Not really going into the trades (but what makes you think the RFA rights of Kase is worth much of anything), but realistically if they don;t play competetively INTO and THROUGH the second round, do those changes address whats wrong with the team?

Is Kalgren ready for NHL, he hasn;t looked it so far.
Can Lyub play 1st pair all season?
Wheres any physicality?
Is muzzin still reliable? Can sandin or liljegren elevate their games?
Does campbell or mikheyev sign back here? While 4mil is too much to Mikheyev IMO (who wanted out earlier this season), is 4mil enough for Campbell?
But again if the team cant progress this year, what is the problem and have you fixed it?

As far as the CBJ guys, how do you think they re-sign Bunting, Nyqvist, or Texier after the 22-23 season (only getting 5.5 collectively now, or Kampf/Acciari)? They wont be able to and you'd be looking at replacing a third of your forwards, (with no rookies in system as yet who could replace them with Knies needing some seasoning and Amirov having his medical issues) as Matthews begins his last season under contract. I can see that ending really well.

I'm NGL, I'd pass if I'm CBJ. Kase isn't worth it considering his injury history, and I'm hesitant to take on Nylander. Since he won't be playing with Tavares/ Matthews, I'm concerned about his individual play-driving ability.
