Jackets don’t need salary to be retained, so you can drop that and lower the pick to probably a 6th rounder

Even better if that's the case.

Vans not giving up that for sergachev, Myers gets a better return than that with no retention and it probably takes Marino and Kapanen to get Boeser

Can’t really see why tampa is giving up a top four d on a good contract for futures.

I would be shocked it they move him at all but to answer the question it would be for 2young NHL ready assets that have top 4d upside and top6 forward upside while also recouping some picks to keep the prospect pipeline going/to be used in future trades. And it would be proactive moving sergachev before having to give him a big raise the following offseason.

If I'm being honest though I think sergachev will be in Tampa for a looonnnggg time.

Cannot see JR and Allvin doing that TBL trade at all.

Good offer for Serg. If JBB decided to listen to offers on him this offseason, it would likely take an offer like this for Tampa to consider moving him.

Philly has Sean Couturier And Kevin Hayes as their 1C and 2C respectively they're not paying JT Miller $8,500,000 x 8 years to play their 3C roll that just isn't going to happen. Tampa should accept that offer for Sergachev. Pretty sure Hexy already said no on the Marino for Boeser trade rumor.

Source for someone saying no to a Marino Boeser trade?

Fletcher has done dumber things

Over the trade deadline there was a lot of talk of a deal involving around Marino for Boeser. And then one of the insiders said that Hextal had no interest in moving Marino.

I love Sergachev, but I don't think Vancouver would be willing to move the necessary amount of high end future assets to get him
