I think you are forgetting what division you are in....

This team is not better that FLA TOR or TB.... so you are looking at a wild card and have to compete with the metro for that... iwouldnt say this is instant playoffs...

Nothing's improved via trade and you just gave 14.5M to two old men because they're French Canadians and were Hughes' clients.

So Letang signs for a pay cut to go to the most heavily taxed team in the league . Just so i get it right he signs 5years @250k less to go from a state with a 4% state income tax to a province with a 33% rate???? Huh????

laugh This is a joke right, Go from the worst team in the league into a playoff team. I don't think so this team hasn't improved one bit. There's no way Letang is taking anything less then $8,000,000 to sign with Montreal and Bergeron is a pipedream he either resigns back with Boston or retires. This team is closer to Conor Bedard than a playoff team.

its not like no players in history has ever signed with montreal in free agency lol. they're still payed in US dollars while living in Canada, that's a pretty good advantage.

but you know why he stoped playing. his knee again. so obvioulsy my scenario is that he's done and goes on LTIR like weber. pretty easy to understand.

Well if you think he going on LTIR for the next four years, so be it.

Prove me wrong. 50M total for a couple of old dudes is dubious cap management.

I like how I'm getting told that there's no way these players sign for that price and at the same time that they're bad signings because of the amount given and their age.

Most don't take a pay cut doing so
Unless they have no other option
