Three-peating is hard, but one potential problematic matchup that stands out to me is our ability to beat the Rangers in 7 games should we face them in the ECF.

1. The Vasy factor is neutralized by Shesterkin.
2. Their top 6 is lethal.
3. Bottom 6 of: Goodrow, Chytil, Reaves, Motte, Vatrano, and Kakko will be tough to beat.

Anyone else feel like we're going to lose tonight? I have us winning the series, but I bet we're going to look a little rusty tonight.

If not, I'll gladly accept a 1-0 series lead.

I generally assume the team coming off the game 7 wins one and the rest becomes a factor late in the series. Bolts in 6. Rags win 1 and 5.

Teams coming off sweeps playing a team that won a game 7 are on a 7 game losing streak.
We'll hopefully make it 1-7 in the last 8.

My only issue with that is that Kuch was effective tonight with that extra time on the 4th line.
A little extra finish in the next game and it's on.

But if Stammer is hurting maybe an ABB over Nash for a little more offensive coverage.

Team played ljke garbage defensively tonight and Vasi let in 2 softies. Had plenty of great chances and beat the so called "best goalie in the league" a couple times that just missed(plus a few other grade A's that they just shot into his crest rather than located well). If they clean up the very basic mistakes that handed NY 4 goals tonight, they'll be fine.

I'd say it was over if we were going on the road, but we're coming home instead. No reason the series can't be 2-2 after 4.
