Description

Players on taxi squad do not start the season in Laval. This retool is based off Carey Price not being able to play going forward. Habs draft Nemac at 3OA and could not find any trade partners for players like Armia, Hoffman, Byron, Gallagher, etc so they remain on the team to start the season.

Also I have 3 players and a goalie scratched because I either read or heard somewhere that there were talks of allowing teams to carry a 3rd goalie next year as well as 3 scratched players.

IF Price is unavailable, Montreal starts a full on rebuild and won't be moving picks and prospects. Ehlers is a great player but he wouldn't fit the rebuild that would follow Price retiring. This package is not enough for him anyway.

Jets aren’t trading Ehlers and even if they were that value isn’t close at all
