Easy pass from the Rangers

Really! I actually thought I was low on that. Has Cuylle's value increased from a 2nd? Or is it the condition I put on the 2023 2nd?

No it's more Dvorak was as most thought a little over valued in Arizona, isn't really on a team friendly deal and is at this point about 2 million AAV overpaid for a 40pt player

The Rangers have no need for Dvorak, who is overpaid anyway. Copp will be 2C and Goodrow at 3C next season IMO. Plus, Cuylee has been good in the juniors, so no way the Rangers are trading him at the moment.

Where are you going to find a 23-26 year old center who puts up 40-50 points for less than 2.5 Mil? The fact is the ONLY center in the league that fits those parameters is Roslovic and there is only 9 in the entire league who put up 30-50 points for between 2.5 and 4.5 Mil between the ages of 24 and 30. Therefor Dvorak is not overpaid for a 30-50 point guy and since there are 8 other players who make more than 4.5 mil in the same age and point range, he is paid fairly.

That's fair, I forgot the Rangers got Copp at the deadline lol

Zucker for Hoffman

I know that a lot of Pens followers on here would jump at this, but I am not sure if the Pens do. Coaching and management love Zucker. He is struggling on the ice, but he provides actual real leadership, not that "lead by example" BS that doesn't actually do anything. He also only has 1 year left as opposed to 2.

Yeah, I totally get that concept we have the same issue with Gallagher LOL.

Edit** except he is signed longer.

Dvorak has never once put up 40 pts in a season

Both. 43 goals 37 assists for 80 points in 59 games in the OHL for Cuylle. Also was voted for 2nd hardest AND 2nd best shot in OHL. TBH I would rather have Copp at 5-6m than Dvorak at 4.5m; let alone with giving up a potential 1st rounder AND Cuylle. Not that he's all of a sudden a true blue chip prospect but his value has increased dramatically from being drafted at 60th overall.

Engvall is a winger not a center read what you are quoting, he can play center but is not very good at it just like Paul Byron.

The 1st would be 28-32 pretty sure that wouldn't be of too much concern lol. Dvo is a great 3C but like I said I forgot that the Rangers acquired Copp. I figured Cuylle was worth about an early to mid 2nd, I didn't even look at where he was drafted in the 2nd round lol. I understand that with Copp the fit is not there though.
