Holl is a capdump for TO. No one is paying a 3rd or a 4th.

He plays 20 mins a night on average and posts solid results. How is he a cap dump at 2 mil lmao

Sandin should not be a healthy scratch. Just let Boosh go to FA and play Sandin full time. Use that Boosh money to sign a UFA 7th d man and spend the extra 1 mil on a more capable 4th line centerman than Steeves for rn

The amount of people I’ve seen trade Kerfoot for next to nothing because he’s a “cap dump” is astounding. Yet then they go out and trade their middle 6 guys for a 1st rounder lmao

That’s true, but you don’t want to ruin Sandin. The guy will be more than NHL ready considering he played very well this year, and it’s wasting him or any of our other d men having them scratxhed the majority of the year. Trading Boosh and getting an older UFA D man who comes cheaper and can be a capable guy if needed but is able to be scratched would be ideal. Like a Bogosian type

I don't think Campbell takes under 4-4.5M to be a starter, especially since the backup makes 3.9M😬.
Engvall had a career year and the way bottom 6 forwards are being paid these days I would be very surprised to see him get under 2.5M minimum, he's 25, physical and more than doubled his previous yr production with 35pts..
TOR can definitely move Holl to a team for sure, he's not a cap dump by any means lol only 30yrs old and he's cheap.

It wouldn't be Sandin specifically scratched every single game though. Boosh would sit some. Muzzin will get hurt. Gio can be load managed. If we don't bring back Gio or Boosh, then what happens when someone goes down for 20+ games? We are playing a cheap 7th d-man full time?

Heck, we went most of this year with 9 nhl d-men, and no one was ruined.
