I’m not sure who started the notion that Fiala for Boeser is a good deal for Minnesota, even if it made sense for them, Vancouver is adding a 1st and some mid level prospect.

Vancouver is definitely not adding that much. Fiala and Boeser have flip-flopped between who has better years every season. The difference between them isn’t a 1st and a prospect. Although a Boeser for Fiala swap won’t happen since Minnesota wouldn’t be able to afford Boeser anyways

Boeser is one of the most one dimensional players in the league, Fiala is capable of doing things Boeser has never even though to attempt. Not everything is about points. Not to mention Fiala has played with 3rd/4th line players almost his entire time in Minnesota, Boeser has always had at least 1 world class player on his line.
