Move to Houston, need to make it competitive to fill the stands and need a STUD player fans can show up for ... Assume 2nd pick in Draft - Logan Cooley .. if not then they trade down to take Savoie ... either way they play at 3rd line C . IF Guenther isnt ready then bring back Kessel and have him play with Trocheck, Phil can still pass the puck well and skate and Trochek can make Crouse and whoever better on D

Not saying this team makes the playoffs out the gate but the Central division is going to get worse next season so you never know also Kane would get people in the stands and you coudl use his cups and future HOF status as marketing material along with Holtby

You’re going to be real disappointed when they stay in Tempe and you learn they got the 3rd pick in the draft

They moved to Houston, thus the name, obviously new ownership the whole shabang ... Kane might not have many choices. If thats a no go then you go after Giroux or 2 players instead of 1. There's ways around it and teams are strapped for cap space.

Kane declines and if for some crazy reason he agrees to go to a rebuilding team, the hawks decline. Can get more for Kane from other teams if they retain half
