correct. Hughes, Nico, Mercer, Sharangovich, Holtz, Gtritsyuk, Zetterlund, Bratt, Boqvist, Zacha (if you keep him), Stillman, Foote and a few more like Thompson. Thats 12 forwards who I think are all top 9 players, all of which I could see becoming top 6 players. Unless you move out a few like Zacha, Stillman and Foote in a move for a goalie, there is no need. He is great and I love him more than Wright, but he has nowhere to play

?? he has 1 yr left at 2mil that can easily be buried in the minors of stashed in LTIR. They have enough cap space coming up to sign a goalie. There are alopt of goalie MUCH better than blackwood available in FA and the trade market. The last few seasons show that new jersey and goalie trade make no sense for any team trying to get better.

It really depends on:
Severson signing for hometown discount and length
Can they get a defensive D man that could play up in 2 spot
Does one of the lefties slide over and does Fitz like the idea?
We have a lot of LHD and middling foRwards, what can they be turned into.
Inside Fwd like Slav is a need, RHD is a must!
I tHink they use their other picks filling the RHD cupboard and maybe even move some of that depth to do that.

I mean smith + Koskinen have been a better tandem the last few years than anything in new jersey and that's saying something.. New jersey needs 2 new goalies. oilers just looking for a 1a since skinner is in the system lol
