I don't think Toronto would like Wilson on the team considering his suspension history. He'd be in a similar situation like Kadri was in either the regular or post season.

Oh look, another "PLEASE give us Wilson for one-dimension Nylander, who we have been continually trying to trade on here for three years, plus give us some extra stuff to boot" TML AGM...

Trading Wilson would be a PR nightmare in DC, but for giggles, Caps counter with Wilson for Nylander (-$1.8M), 2nd, 2nd

Timothy Liljegren's (2017 R1 #17) bridge deal should cost around what 2014 1st round #17 pick, Travis Sanheim's, 2019 bridge deal which was 2 years at 3.25M. And you're going to get him to sign for 1.2M---get real.

Offer sheets for no compensation due are coming for all your RFA's and they all will get raises. That's how bad you've underestimated their contracts.

Pieces that would need to be involved in a Helle trade to the Leafs: Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Robertson, Sandin, Liljegren, Robertson, Knies. Obviously understandable that the first two would be shot down but the rest of them should be able to be brought back in a Helle trade. If one of those players aren't in the deal, then the Jets say no immediately
