That boston trade isn’t creative. It’s pretty lazy actually. Ignores bruins needs. Ignores value. Roster. Everything.

Fair I didn’t really do any research into what Boston needs. What would you want for DeBrusk?

I wouldn’t say this package equates to nothing, Connor Brown had a higher ppg than DeBrusk this year and idk much about DeBrusks defensive play but Brown is a really good penalty killer and can play up and down the lineup. DeBrusk obviously has more of a scoring touch. Plus you get a 50 point defenceman for 2 million dollars.

But if it doesn’t fit your needs then that makes sense.

That Minnesota trade doesn’t make much sense from either side. If Ottawa were to acquire Schmaltz, why wouldn’t they just keep him instead of trade him++ for Fiala, Minnesota also wouldn’t be able to afford Schmaltz. Any Fiala trade is likely Pick+Prospect.
