I think this is actually the most sensible Scheifele trade I've seen on here. Fair value and good for all sides.

Not close to the value or team needs met for Winnipeg to consider.

Kapanen isn't worth a 2nd and the Jets don't have the cap space to add him.

I totally agree! People do not realize that not everyone is worth the Eichel package. Now I don't think that this is enough but I think it is closer than people think.

Likely because one is a Jet fan and knows Winnipeg doesn't need left shot wingers and replacement level players where the other doesn't know anything about the Jets.
