DAL probably accepts, but that's a huge lowball offer for Arizona to take $7M of dead cap off your hands. For multiple years that is.

Sounds like I'm in the minority, but I probably don't take that deal if I'm Dallas. It's an extra $1.5M per year that could be used for guys like Hintz, Oettinger, and Robertson. With Heiskanen and Seguin's massive deals on the books, I'm not sure I'm looking to trade for an $11M contract

Value wise, the trade is fine, but from a personal preference I wouldn't want to add the extra cap

And secondly, now that I see the Benn cap hit, I am assuming this person has Stars retaining, which is impossible. Benn would have to go at 9.5 with another contract, probably Faksa, if you want to get Tavares off the books to Dallas.
