WPG wants to give Schmidt away they hardly paid anything for him and they don't want his salary. 1st and high end center prospect for a current top 6 center is pretty good value who wants out. Soucy doesn't fit with SEA systems, they trade him for a D prospect and middle 6 forward prospect, pretty good value.

Must have been a good Leafs trade though since you didn't comment there Mr Toronto....

It was Ok. Sure, you could have given Toronto a 1st round pick, but it wasn't worth calling out.

Zero need for either player and not adding to Scheifele for a lousy offer that wouldn’t even get Scheifele alone
