The buy out just gives me cap space.
Mussin contract NT NM clauses dont kick intil july 2023. Again just cap space.
Signing numbers are just a guess, and any trades are also just a guess.

Is that true for Muzzin NTNMC?

Edit:

Could be wrong but in 2023-2024 it changes to 10 team trade clause. While in 2022 it is a full no trade.

That’s an easy no from the Sabres

Not paying a 2nd for a LD we don’t need/want
Muzzin is declining anyways
And we already have our Top4 LDs

2 more years at 5.6mil per
That limits what teams could even be interested

I’d bet his value is more like a 4th

He doesn't want to move his family. So playing local is ok. After July 1st , his bonus is payed. So his contract after that is 2mil this year & 4mil next, total of 6mil over 2 years. But a cap hit of 11 mil.
