King's shouldn’t get kassian, it is just unnecessary. Arz prob likes Vilardi but will probably want vilardi, Spence, Grans and 2022 1st to take it. It is high from the Kings end but Arizona will make sure they fill quite a few needs to move on from a good defenseman on a great contract.

How is it unnecessary? We just got bullied by the Oilers... Maybe just Deslouriers is enough, but I would love to have both of them.

Chychrun trade is fine, whether or not it's tweaked slightly as others have suggested.

Adding Kassian is an acceptable idea in isolation, but we'd have to give him playing time that would take away from our youngsters. I'd feel otherwise if we weren't going to keep Lemieux.

LAK didn’t get bullied by EDM, they played a 7 game series against a team that has two superstar players and is in a whole different phase as lak in terms of peak contention window. Mike Smith was second in GSAx (only behind oettinger) in round 1 which was definitely unexpected and helped edm advance even though he didn’t carry that to game 1 against CGY

Kassian is just as bad as Raffi Torres IMO. I agree the Kings need to add some size and toughness, but Kassian is not the answer.

But Walker is a significantly better defenseman than Spence at this point and is signed to an incredibly team-friendly contract. I don't agree that Spence has more value.

What would be your alternative? I want Deslouriers, but not sure only him would be enough.

There are a number of options, including internally. Helenius is only a season or two away from being a 4th line option. He's big and mean. Andre Lee and Helge Grans are both big bodies as well.
