Giving Away Nylander for Konechny and MacEwen? No way in hell do the leafs give Nylander away for so little. And Kerfoot, a 3rd and 7th for Foligno, and only Foligno. Those will never happen lol.

Had to retain a bit of Konecny's salary there too, Philly would need some incentive to do that. MacEwen is the pure definition of an enforcer lmao, that's great for this team. Also added a 4th in there to sweeten the touch. You'd be surprised, I saw another armchair GM who traded nylander for konecny straight up.

As for the foligno trade, kerfoot alone scored more points this season than him. I understand that folingo definitely carries higher value due to his physicality, leadership, and penalty killing ability. Hence the reason for the picks I threw in there, a 3rd round pick has decent value on its own. You seem to be greatly underestimating kerfy's value lmao.

Philly declines.

Nothing against Nylander but not smart for Philly, especially with salary retained

Understandable, just thought it would make sense to start your rebuild around a dynamic scorer like Nylander. A nylander-coots-atkinson first line combo would be nice for a rebuilding team.

Minnesota isn't trading Marcus foligno, nothing you offered gets him . Like already been stated, Minnesota doesn't want Kerfoot

You don't judge a player like Foligno on points. Joel Eriksson ek, Marcus foligno, and Jordan greenway were one of the best 3 rd lines on nhl this year, having surrender 6 even goals all year. That's how good they were. Marcus foligno also provides leadership, and protection for teammates such as kaprizov, Zuccarello, etc..

So points aren't everything

The only players that I think Bill geurin should be open to trading are Kulikov, Fiala, or Dumba. Foligno is a solid producer, has good leadership and perfect chemistry with greenway and eriksson ekk, no way we trade him

Why would he trade fiala over foligno? Doesn't fiala have insane chemistry with kaprisov? Not to mention the absolute tear he went on in the second half of the season

Fiala gets a better return for one, we don’t have the cap space to sign him at the asking terms he wants without losing fleury, deslaurier, bjugstad, dewar, Middleton and more. Plus he doesn’t even play with Kaprizov except for on the power play, which lets be honest, kinda sucked
