No way Forsberg signs in WPG for 8M. He's gonna get 9.5M (which will be an overpayment) somewhere where he hopes to win a cup.

Forsberg is not getting less than 9 in UFA, that price can go even higher
I am actually one of the people who wouldn’t be against trading PLD but the package would have to include Quality roster player with fair or good contract, high end prospect, 1st for the jets to consider. This package has 0/3 of those things
the team needs 2-3 more nhl players
For the jets sake, comrie was good this yr and prob will be cheaper than holtby. They can take a chance with berdin as a cheap backup as Connor takes most the starts
