I'm not mad at the Pens trade, but the only thing that would need to be worked out prior to the trade is an affordable extension for Boeser. The Pens can't meet his qualifying offer as it stands. He'd have sign for probably around $5Mish for this to work for the Pens in addition to the retention on Myers.

Im a big fan of Pearson, he can play on all lines and almost every role. He’s not the most physical player but he will stick up for his teammates when needed, like when he fought Soucy

I’m more worried about whether he is willing to sacrifice his body to block shots at any point in time.
