Love the aggression. Dobson likely gets at least $6 mil per. The ONLY downside to find right off the bat, next year you have to move guys in desperation for cap space to keep others. This roster will look very different next season.

Too early for this, the Leafs will probably have Sandin and Liljegren signed before free agency, neither have arb rights, so the only leverage they have is sitting out and they can't afford to do thag, so really they have no leverage. If the Leafs haven't signed them FA is near, then maybe it's worth discussing

Sabres decline Varlamov deal, still lookng for 1A goalie in UFA should be a priority.

If that's Dobson's offer that NYI can do, I think Sabres should consider offer sheeting him 5x6,3 aav for 1st and 3rd in compensation. NYI will match, but they have to unload one or two deals to make so. Worth a shot
